Has anyone used the Mobile VPN service for the new Samsung Blackjack? How does it work?

We are looking into using the new mobile VPN service offered on the Samsung Blackjack yet can’t find any information as to how it works. Do you need specifice software to vpn into a network? Does it support all applications or only Microsoft applications? Any information on this technology would be helpful.
