@toroarts The “casino & banch of hotels” that you’ve mentioned so negatively will create thousands of jobs, will add the country’s GDP by over $100 million annually, will finance the construction of the Egvard reservoir ($70 million), that is important for Lake Sevan, will increase the inbound tourism & decrease the outbound tourism, unite all Armenians around the only issue they all agree on, energize other projects. Only ecomicaly strong Armenia can survive today

Bad idea to tie this project to Genocide, whoever thought this up is lacking sense of humanity. The right thing would be to relate this project to ancient history of Armenia. National revival should not be symbolized with a casinoand bunch of hotels. Whoever is behind this has no idea what national revival should be!

Has work really begun on this project? I don’t see any news articles on it.

@ArizonaFlame Please watch the video part 2. With all the high paying jobs the project will create, multymillion $ GDP growth that it will result in, which can be used to improve the infrastructure and for social purposes, and the progress in tourism industry, which continually creates wealth and improves the socializing skills, I don’t believe one can find a better way to create that kind of investment program and find a better way to invest.

This project seems great and all, but I would think that the money being spent on this could be used for better things. Upgrading the country’s infastructure, combating poverty, unemployment, corruption, etc.

The project is located in Yegvard area, 10 minutes from Yerevan, on the shore of a 1000 hectares man made reservoir, completion of which is part of this project.
