@tipit10 MS suck for not making DirectX license free and 100% open source and the developers you so dearly love suck for not making games for Mac OS. Apple isn’t to blame for anything and the machines are perfectly capable of running games like this.

:D Why did you say “I’m not sure what levels they are”

Btw, do you know much about Xbox 360 game hosting… I know it automaticly picks a host for all games (that I know of) on Xbox 360 but what is it determined on…

Example: I have 6mb and my friend has 2mb … mw2 always picks the one with the ‘least’ amount of mb for some fail reason, and everytime it picks him he get’s kicked from the game so why doesn’t it just pick me and stop kicking everyone with a crappy connection?

Does NOT work when you’re behind NAT (so basically when you are using router). It even show warning at host try that “you are beind symetric nat router, you are unlikely to connect to other players”.

With my brother at our home, we did not do just anything to get lan work. Clean instal, updates, both had same version, hosted lan game and it shows up. He’s having Vista64, while I’m on W7-64.
Our windows firewall is shutten down, using only one firewall (F-Secure Internet Security 2008) which is correctly configued and allowed and using D-Link router behind a DSL modem. Lan network is working correctly at windows, our computer shows up etc. Printer and file sharing is enabled.

Gameranger tells me that I am behind something and that I need to port forward. From my experience with this, if you have a Dynamic Based IP address from your ISP, this may not work. If you have a Static Based IP from your ISP then it probably will work, but if you have a Static IP and you don’t mind port forwarding, I recommend you do so. But that is just me.
