I’m curious to know the history of a game that is on the internet that is in the public domain (meaning no patents, trademarks, or copyrights). Sorta like a encyclopedic history or something to that degree. Like who created it, why, what variations of the game exist, original theorems, mathematical knowledge, and things of that nature. I’m talking about any game, you decide. Any game that does not have a copyright, trademark, patent, or anything like that. Thanks to everyone who reads this. I’m curious to find out the results.

In that case, they would need to release it TO the public domain through a text statement somewhere in the game. “Public domain” does not apply to trademarks. Patenting cannot happen with software in most cases.
