so, what i am looking for is a free 3d mmorpg similar to world of warcraft, i’ve tried guild wars but i want somthing more like world of warcraft where there’s not just fighting but item crafting, mining, ect. i’ve also tried runescape so dont suggest it, if you can help thankz, oh yeah and remember it has to be 3d and have a lot player i don’t want to play an mmorpg where i log on and cant find anyone

Final Fantasy XI is a pretty good one, though if you’re coming from WoW, you’ll probably be pretty overwhelmed. It tends to require a lot more investment in time to do even simple things like crafting.
Everquest 2 is another popular game, though I’ve never played it myself. There’s also Star Wars Galaxies, although I’ve been told it’s pretty dead recently. City of Heroes is a pretty unique take on the genre, and it’s got a cool hook to it.
There are probably more that I’m forgetting.
i play a TON of WoW and when i feel like taking a break i play maplestory. it is a sort of cartoony 2D sidescroller but it’s free, online and fairly entertainting. http://www.maplestory.com is where you can download the game.
theres a new game called CRONOUS, and its a diable style game, not developed by Blizzard, but by a new company, you can check it out.

Shadowbane is a really old MMORPG thats free, its 3D but the graphics are a bit dated. Also the world population is lower, but you can find people.
I forget the names of others but there are tons out there.

Well you don’t really have much of a choice, not many games come even CLOSE to WoW nowadays, only thing i can suggest is private servers, although they do have much lower population, you can still find a fair amount of people, and just like on real servers, they have their peak times too, if you want something like WoW or around as good i can tell its more of single player rpg’s or small numbers for multiplayer, thats about it.
