At present, any answer would have to be pure subjective speculation. Too many classes are still undergoing massive changes.
Moreover, ‘best’ for what? Best for leveling quickly? Probably death knights, since they start at level 55, are tough, and can deal a lot of damage. Best for group utility? Go with the standards, any healer or any tank. Best for PvP? There are no absolutes on this one.
Overall, the ‘best’ class for WoW is the one you enjoy playing most.
I think it’s about the player, and not the class. I think each player plays one class best. I think mine is a mage.
everyone’s gonna make a Death Knight. I know I will lol. It will be completely over used, like people have said the hunter is.
I think it’s about skill, and not class, and about manipulating you character. Some spells and abilities are seen as overpowered, which they probably are, but that doesnt mean every player takes advantage of it
there will never really be a best class blizzard is always balancing things with military efficiency like a official with ocd at the bazaar. the class you are using now will get a whole revamp on the talent tree and probably a whole new batch of spells. There will probably never be the best class but there will always be a best player. Who will most likely be who can master the new style of play the best
In my honest opinion and research, The Warrior is going to be an overpowered class just by looking at the talents, which in fury contains Titan’s grip which allows the warrior to duel weild two hand weapons, which is not available for any other class. Blizzard is usually good at evening things out between the different classes, but i truley beleive they screwed up a little bit with the overpowered fury talent.
this is basically what im going to say “Its not the look of the dog but the fight in the dog” quoted from some dead smart guy. Basically choose what you like doing best because if you dont youll get tired frustrated and quit

One of my friends in beta has told me that mages are getting a lot more bang for their buck… I don’t play one, but I figure it’s about time considering how tricky they are to play.
Ya it maters about the player not what class but if i had to chose i would chose my Druid =p

Well it depends on how good the new characters are, we won’t fully know until the game comes out and people make there opinions of the new characters.
A defender then a hunter the defender is for the beast. To hit and the hunter will kill it …
