I am really pissed off now. I don’t even play that much and she doesn’t want me to be playing at all. she is hiding all my computer game cd’s including world of warcraft. how can i convince her to give it to me back

First of all, dump your girlfriend. No one who steals from you is worth your time, let alone your friendship.
Next, call the police and file a theft report. Tell them what was stolen, who stole it, and how you know they were stolen. Make absolutely sure your now-ex-girlfriend was the one who stole them, though. Also, make sure you have the serial number of the software or some other identifier that marks the stolen material as yours. You may need to contact Blizzard and the other software companies that produced the other game software that was stolen for registration information. If you tell them someone stole their software and you have good reason to believe they stole it to make and distribute illegal copies, they will usually be very accommodating.
Once you have all of this information in your hands, ask the police to search your ex-girlfriend’s home for what was stolen from you. You or they will have to go to a judge and have him or her issue a search warrant, but if you have proof of your ex-girlfriend’s misdeeds, this shouldn’t be too difficult. Once the police have found the stolen items, have your ex-girlfriend arrested for theft and possession of stolen property. Prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law, and do not accept excuses from or bargain with her or her attorneys. In fact, don’t even speak to or listen to them except in a criminal court.
Once your ex-girlfriend has been convicted of this crime, she will then have a police record, and will hopefully have learned her lesson. Just make sure you cover yourself completely as you perform each step. Good luck. – LJS
Tell her that you’ll only play for a certain amount of time at a specific time or something.
That and you have to devote time solely to her without playing the game when you’re seeing her, and make sure you follow through with it.
Because if you don’t just spend time with her the first day that you said you won’t, she’ll just take the cd’s again; and probably for longer and it will be harder to get them back.
You don’t need the CDs to play. If she uninstalled it, you can download the setup files & patches without CDs–then password protect your computer.
If you honestly don’t play often, you may want to think twice about being with her. If she’s dating a gamer, she’s dating a gamer, plain and simple and needs to accept it or find someone else. I’ve been married for 3 years now and even when I stop gaming completely for months, I will inevitably be playing EQ, WoW or some game again before too long because it is what we enjoy.
If you don’t care & just want to set her straight, you can always start hiding her stuff as well.
She is overstepping her boundaries here & you need to communicate that. You don’t mess with other people’s things. It’s controlling, wrong & can’t end well.
Without more details, it’s hard to say what’s going on..
She shouldn’t be stealing your stuff. That’s not how a relationship works. If you really want it back, either get it back yourself or file a police report for theft.
If she’s doing it because you spend all your time on the computer and little or none with her, consider taking a bit more of a break from gaming.
Either way, neither of you sound that mature. Don’t try or worry about a relationship now. Play your games, let her do what she wants, and try a relationship later when you’re both more stable… or appreciate the fact you have someone when many people online don’t… or just get lucky and find a gamer girlfriend. Lotsa possibilities, but it sounds like the current situation isn’t one that will work out.
Of course, this is also supposition because we have no idea of the rest of the story.
You must be play long time every day, and your girlfriend is angry about it. Could you play less time a day and spend more time with your girlfriend.I think she will be happy and give the cd back to you.

That’s not right, me and my boyfriend are both gamers, and we play wow together. But, if i didn’t i would never ask him to choose. Obviously the game is a hobby to us and playing it makes us happy, so by preventing you from playing your games and such shes taking away what you like to do. Maybe, try to get her into it ? This is very selfish and immature indeed. Reconsider being with her.
tell her she’s right and you’re sorry. tell her that’ll make it up and try to spend time with more often. make sure you got some flowers or chocolates whatever floats her boat.

lucky for me, my girlfriend plays WoW more than I do. That’s how I started to play.
Steal it back. Or if you know where she’s hiding it, make a copy of it.

Otherwise have one of your friends ask if they can have it, and you could say they can, and then they could give it back to you. Let your girlfriends see the conversation, though.
If you aren’t comfortable lying, just talk to her. Tell her you won’t play it too much, and that you’ll still have time for her.
She obviously doesn’t want you to play. You gotta decide if shes being unresonable or if she has a case. If shes really making a issue out of something simple do you really want to date her? If she has a reason to be upset then lay off the game and make the changes you need to your gametime playing to make her happy.

i am very proud if your girlfriend. even if you say you dont play that much, you’re in denial. it is slowly destroying my 20 Y/O brother’s life because hes a ******* addict. he just got a job for the first time in over a year a month ago because he would have had to leave his x-box and lap top. just stop playing it. its for losers any ways.

YOu can do quest on your own time. meaning. u dont need to be on it 24/7 u can play it for 2 hours a day and eventually work your way up.
