How Long Will The World Of Warcraft Be Played By Online Rpg Players?

WOW changed things in online gaming with hitting nearly 6 million account. Most of the ppl having fun with this game by sitting front of it hours and hours. Think about the day there is only few ppl online and you feel like playing a single player game. When will it be? What is the life time of Wow? ( Till their graphic engine getting older?, Till their new product ( kind a WOW2 not an expension like BC)? What do you think?

my daughter is hooked on WOW,when she at home and awake shes got her nose in the game, oblivion,is a fairly new rpg, graphics a little better but you may have to upgrade the vid card, WOW meets Myst.check it out, she want to install it in my comp, little that she knows-i have it already, lol, she locked out of my comp.if she get it to it i may never see it again.i say if you are playing a comp. game longer than what’s the sleep your getting there maybe a problem…

As long as the company keeps adding new races, lands, armor, etc. WoW will still be popular. Once they halt production, however, it will probably die off within a year or so and something new will come along to replace it.

I give it a few years, remember when Baldur’s Gate was all the rage, now hardly anyone plays it.
The problem with these games is the only people who play them are the fanboys, so if you’re new to the world of MMORPG, you will not know what to go for, and merely buy one on a friends recommendation.
Sad as it is, I’ve racked up like 2000 hours on PSO1/2 and PSO3 for the GameCube, though I am not a fanboy to it, I like other games too, such as Monster Hunter, though I haven’t had MH or MHF as long as PSO.
