I’m not sure with this latest patch but to sign into a private server the process goes like this for PC:
My Computer>C:>World of Warcraft
From WoW’s Folder, right click Realmlist.wtf and open with Notepad.
You should see the realm
us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com or something of the sort and you should also see the patch realm, no need to change that.
To sign into a private server Change the us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com to whatever the private server’s website tells you, and sign in with the profile that you created on the private server’s webpage.
