I do have fun playing wow doing crafting, exploring, etc but the questing to me is so repetitive that it is actuially ruining the game for me and people say it just gets worse so why sould i continue if it just gets worse?

You can engage in the PvP to break things up. Or group up with other people while you are questing, that should make it a bit more interesting.
If neither works, the game might not be for you.

My friend, I have the exact same problem, but don’t let it get in the way. You can progress through the game by going to dungeons/instances. I did this for most of the time between levels 20-60. I personally prefer working in a group than on my own questing. Make some friends, because I know that playing World of Warcraft is one of the most boring games in the world, but with friends it’s great fun. I’ll be your friend, if you’re on the Doomhammer server!
First off, you need to find ways that make you grind as fast as possible (specs, gear, spell combinations).
Second, having a guild to chat to while grinding is always fun, it takes your mind off the repetiveness.
Also, the faster you level, the more fun it makes the grinding. Sure, questing gets boring, but it isn’t all that boring when you’re doing a level an hour. Take breaks and go PvP, get your professions up, work the auction house. Maybe try a guide, it keeps you from wasting time wondering what quest to do and how to do it – and makes leveling that much faster. After all, the point IS to make it to level 70 because thats when the fun really begins.
Have fun !
Man, let’s face the facts – this game sucks, and the only reason we play it is because they’re exploiting our psychology. Think about it: if every time you kill a monster and get a blue, there’s no thrill. If you never get blues, there’s no thrill either. However, when it is random, it keeps you playing, always hoping for that next blue. This is the same psychology casinos use to get your money, and Blizzard is no different. Every quest is a grind, every profession is a grind, every BG is a grind. Ugh! Why do we do this to ourselves?
On the bright side, general chat is a lot of fun. CHUCK NORRIS!
Stop playing or get a better game to play.. i also suggest BG
World of Warcrat is a VERY repitive game, PVP side or PVE even if you switch back and forth, from First few levels is fun, but once you get 20 everything starts to get slow and as you progress on leveling its very time consuming and may take at least 1-2 days (if you quest non stop) just to level. What I suggest to make this game fun and the reason why I play is the people. Even if you’re friends in-life dont play or only a few, meet people who intrest you and what not. not only does it benifit you from playing but it also helps faster if you want to start up groups/instances and it’s always nice to be well known if you are intrested in raiding. If you’re level 70 people think it’s “More fun” in which sence it is just like when you started, except you wont be leveling, you’ll be gaining “Reputation, Prof.(if you already havent) and Dalies”
Reputation means you’ll be grinding you’re way threw instances to get gear. Dailies you do every day same thing. But it’s VERY boring when you’re not talking to someone. Vent/PM’s are very simple but makes me play the game. As for Raiding once you(if you havent) it’ll be fun. for a few times and as you progress into 25mans the spark continues.. Killing a “Hard” boss as HKM/Gruul or as advanceKael’thas or Lady Vashj/ illidan/Council is very rewarding. But the game isnt as fun if you have nobody to talk to
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BATTLEGROUNDS(pvp). take regular in game vacations from questing. fool around with a real life friend
I had the exact same problem! I just PvP’d or ganked people >:).
.
In the end I just quit. WoW is really repetitive and if you get really bored of it just quit
come to silver hand and i’ll add you to me friends and will get you into the fun part
Kill the elves
try to party up and talk more. Run around the npc monsters while you fight just to brighten things up =)
