World of Warcraft is an MMORPG. Which means you play online with other people. You have to pay to buy the game as well as pay a monthly fee (15 bucks I think). I have never played the game myself, so I can’t tell you much about the game play. Just try wikipedia or google it. Hope I helped!

Hi there. Sounds like you could use some help. :P
World of Warcraft is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). You take the role of a medieval character. You choose a race and class for your character. A race is the species you play. EX. Humans, Taurens, etc. A class is the type of combatant you are. EX. Rogue, Mage. Races are specific to their faction. Factions are teams, in a sense. You can be Horde, or Alliance. Factions are as follows:
Horde – Tauren, Orc, Troll, Undead. (And if you buy the Burning Crusade Expansion pack, Blood Elf.)
Alliance – Human, Night Elf, Dwarf, Gnome. (Burning Crusade Expansion pack, Draenei.
Classes – Warrior, Warlock, Rogue, Mage, Priest, Paladin, Shaman, Druid, Hunter, and with Wrath of the Lich King…Death Knights.
A race can’t have all classes. Some races will have classes others don’t.
There are also different server types: PVE, PVP, RP, RP-PVP.
PVE – Normal servers. You cannot attack other players.
PVP – Normal servers. You may attack other players, regardless of level.
RP – Roleplay server. You act and speak as if you are really in the medieval times.
RP-PVP – Roleplay server. You may attack other players, regardless of level. You act as a medieval person.
    Now for the gaming part.
The goal is to reach maximum level, or as players call it..”End Game”.
Normal World of Warcraft let’s you level to 60. Next is the Burning Crusade Expansion pack, which let’s you level to 70. Finally, there is the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion pack, which brings you to the final level of 80. You must buy the expansion packs if you plan to play the game properly, since most players around you will be level 80.
You may level by the following methods:
    – Questing
    – Running instances
    – Grinding
Questing is just as the name says. You quest. You talk to NPCs (Non-Player Characters) who give you a task. Complete the task and receive awards and XP. (Experience points, which are used to level you.)
An instance is an area where enemies and receiveare kept. You and your group mates must get to the end, where a final boss will be. In many instances there are more than one boss, so be cautious.
Grinding is killing enemies over and over again. You recieve XP per kill.
I recommend a mix of questing and running instances. This is the fastest way to level for many classes.
Congratulations! Your level 80! Now to start the End Game.
End Game offers a lot to the players. I like to divide it into two parts, though. PVP..and Raiding.
PVP (Player vs. Player) is my favourite part of the game. You pit yourself against other players in either Battlegrounds, Arena, or World PVP. I’ll explain all 3.
Battlegrounds are instances (in a sense) where your on a team with your fellow faction. You must achieve the battleground goal before your enemies. You can kill your enemies to prevent them from doing this. Beware though, they can attack back.
Arena is a smaller version of a battleground with the main goal of killing the opposing team. It’s divided into three types: 2v2, 3v3, 5v5. For an example, 2v2 would include you and your partner versus two other enemies. Strategy is key in Arena. Make sure you stay one step ahead of your enemies.
World PVP is only present in PVP servers. You may kill players anywhere, except in safe zones, which are usually cities.
    Raiding
Raiding is just like running instances..Except it is a much harder, and funner experience. There can be raids that can go up to 40 players. Don’t worry though, no enemy players can attack you. They aren’t even near you at this point. Run through with your group until you reach the final boss. Kill the boss, recieve rewards. Simple enough, right? You wait and see.
At this point, you can also do little things like raise your professions. Professions are jobs in the game. You may have two professions. You choose whatever your preference is. You will see which professions go well with others. These are seen mostly for monetary gain. Money in this game is divided into three categories: Gold, Silver, Copper.
    Gold > Silver > Copper.
    100 Copper = 1 Silver. 100 Silver = 1 Gold.
That should help you understand gameplay.
Now for the payment of the game:
    You end up paying for:
    World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
To answer your question, a gamecard is a card that has 60 days of paid game time on it. Buy it at a store, enter the code online, and there you go. 60 days game card
This isn’t the only payment method, though. There’s payment by credit card, Paypal, phone, eCheck, and many more.
You pay a montly fee of 15 dollars American if you choose those methods. I pay by gamecard. It’s a little more expensive, but you don’t have to give credit card information.
That’s about it! I hope you give World of Warcraft a shot! You won’t regret it!
Be sure to check out the site for more information!
    Hope I helped!
