Unfortunately, uninformed voters associate the current economic problems with the current republican administration. They don’t understand how long this has been coming and the who the people are who have actually been involved in causing this crash. If they looked they will see that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were formed by democratic politicians years and years ago, in an effort to make housing more affordable to all Americans. Presidents Carter and Clinton signed bills that made it even easier to get those loans through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Bush tried to pass a bill regulating those corporations, and McCain supported the bill. However it was not passed in the House and Senate. Not to mention that Obama was the second largest recipient of campaign funds from Fannie Mae (behind another democrat). You can’t get something for nothing. Obama can’t give people something when there is nothing to give either. People don’t dig deeply though. They just hear the promises. What a mistake….
It is definitely since Bush is the current president and is a Republican, it does benefit Obama and the Democrats. People are thinking things can not get any worse than what we have now with the Republicans in power.
Probably because of our current leader, who is mostly (not all) to blame for this economic crisis. Bush is republican and McCain is very similiar (TOO similar) to Bush, hence… people like Obama more.

Because it points out what a glaring failure Bush-O-Nomics has been, along with every other Republican theory of the last 20 years.

Because the liberals are brainwashed and think this mess is Bushes and the republicans fault, not the fault of their own party.
