Ok i have E-mailed blizzard and im waiting for a response I’m wondering what i could possibly do to connect. Here’s what has changed sence i havnt been able to connect i have downloaded a world of warcraft patch off of a different web-site other then blizzards and it still might be on but im not sure please tell me how i could find that (that was when it started). Also i have Disabled my firewalls when playing that still doesn’t work i have also made sure that the firewalls are allowing it. If there’s anything else you could suggest i could do please do tell.

First, where did you download the patch from? Depending on the site, you could be looking at a hacked version of the patch.
Second, can you connect to the worldofwarcraft.com website? If so, try entering the forums, and see if you can sign in there. Verify that your login works.
Then we’d probably want to take a look at the response the game is giving. When you start the game, and the little news box pops up (where you have to click the “Play” button), does it show any contents? When you give it your name and password, what sort of message does it return with?
