Help With World Of Warcraft And Expansions?

Okay, I have the first World of Warcraft. The World of Warcraft.
I am buying the Burning Crusade today, so once I’ve installed the normal WOW, do I create an account now, or only after installing the Burning Crusade as well?

If you’ve already purchased the original game, now purchase an account, or upgrade the free trial one you’ve received with the game.
After you have a working account, then I’d recommend you install World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. You have to have an existing account to upgrade so that your account allows TBC access!
If you do not have an account you pay for already, you can’t upgrade it and play TBC (full-version, nontrial).

For core WoW you make an account either before or after the install. From there you would apply the product code from the burning crusades and it upgrades your account to a burning crusades account. It is not necesary to install or use the burning crusades at all but if you have it you might as well.

Go ahead and register your account before isntalling Burning Crusade – just in case you get a problem during installation.
