It is a very good game to me personally.
I have been playing the game for about 4 years now and I still am very interested in continuing playing.
It is very nice because Blizzard is constantly upgrading the game and is always adding new content so you don’t ever really finish or beet the game.
You just progress farther and farther. It is a great game to play if you have alot of time to sit down and play.
But if you only have less than an hour to play each time you sit down to play you really won’t get much accomplished. It is a game that really requires you to sit down for atleast an hour to get something significantly completed.
So depending on how much time you are able to play is how good it is.
I know that when I play I try to atleast get an hour in.
Have fun if you get it. You will be satisfied.
And if you do get it. Don’t quit if you find that you don’t like the first character you selected. Try to play all the classes before you decide it is a bad game or not. Each class is very diffrent and every persons personality depends on which character they shuold play.. My personal favorites are Warrior, Shaman, and Paladin.
Horde or Alliance is up to you. Just depends on your personal preferance on which you like better.

From my own experience it’s pretty awesome.
First 20 or so levels were the most boring, but after getting a few mods and meeting some people the questing/leveling got a lot better.
I’ve only played for a bit over a year, but I saw the end-game parts of Burning Crusade. I have quit now though due to lack of time to play… and am too lazy to learn the new expansion. But I still talk to the friends I met from time to time.
There’s pretty much an unlimited amount of stuff to do… you can do dungeons… quest… make gold… PvP… RP… and level an endless amount of alts. There’s still plenty to do end-game IMO.
To sum it up, pros: Fun way of socializing, fun stuffs to do.
    Cons: Time-consuming, addictive.
The $15 is not that bad either from my point of view. But after a year that has drained me of over $180.
Any direct questions feel free to ask.

My advice is at least try the game. But play it in moderation, dont get addicted to it like many other people have. Have a balance, spend time with friends and family too, and dont choose doing a raid with your guild over your sons/daughters wedding (just an example). I play the game too, but i try to do my homework first and only play on weekends. I have a 72 hunter on the Nagrand server. If you wanted to know ;-)

i enjoy it and its a great time waster, but if you don’t like rpg then no i can only tell you what i think but from my opinion yes, its awesome. but you do have to pay 60$ every two months to play it… that part kind of sucks, but the gae is still good

It really is a fantastic game, but you don’t have to take my word for it, you can just download the ten day free trial and check it out yourself.
Here’s some info on the trial:http://internet-games.suite101.com/artic…
