Do Those Who Just Heard The Remastered Beatles. What Are Your Wow Moments And Disappointments?

Sgt. Pepper is incredible. The White album sounds terrible. With new digital resources it really shows their mindsets. They had fun making Sgt. Pepper and hated each other on the White Album. Ringo just “phoned it in” on the White album. So sad.

They’re strange. I say ’strange’ because, ‘Please Please Me’ and ‘Sgt. Peppers’ are a little distracting due to so many changes. ‘Peppers’ is dull in some places, where it shouldn’t be, and it’s bright and loud in others. After listening to these for 40 years, I think the original mono sounds best. These original albums are classics because they sounded so good as they were. Lennon’s voice comes off very weak on ‘Please’. In fact, the people who remastered this album decided to leave in his weak spots. Maybe that’s ok. But man he’s a legend. Why ruin his memory with something like that?

The music is awesome, mastered or not, every band will have fights at some point of time, and Ringo is always making funny jokes.
